Responsibilities: Asa quality engineer, you will be working closely with other firmware developersand quality engineers globally in strategy, plan, and implementation to ensurethe qualify of firmware developed. Youwill be using your creativity in creating the test plans and test suites,developing and enhancing the tools, and execution of test cases. Inaddition, you will be participate in problem isolation for challenging complexx86-based systems. Qualifications(MUST): 1.
Bachelor's degreein computer science or engineering required. 2.
1+ yearexperience of Software Testing or trouble shooting: Familiar withhardware/software/firmware testing methodology and hands-on experience anddevelopment techniques and tool sets for test tools and automation. 3.
2+ yearsProgramming skills in one or more scripting languages, including Perl, Python,PhP, and web-based programming 4.
Knowledge ofcomputer architecture, x86 architecture, and OS architecture. 5.
Firmware,software, and hardware background. 6.
Knowledge ofindustry standards including ACPI, USB, SMBIOS, UEFI, and PCI/PCI-express. Qualifications(Would like to have): 1.
Knowledgeable inlarge scale servers 2.
C/C++ language programming experience 3.
1+ yearsLinux/UNIX/Windows development experience 4.
Experience withthe testing of firmware projects. 5.
Highly desirableto have prior experience in embedded firmware. 6.
Knowledgeable invirtualization technology Soft Skills: 1.
